PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a balloon detaining implement in such a manner that a balloon detaining part successively joined disconnectably to a main body has a slit extending a string portion like a loop onto one surface and the portion near the gas injection port of the balloon inserted into the looped string portion is inserted into the slit in a returned state by pulling the string portion toward the other surface side of the balloon detaining part so as to seal the gas injection port and to constitute the balloon detaining implement in such a manner that the balloon is connected to the main body by a piece of the string and that the flying of the balloon is prevented even when the hand is detached from the main body in spite of the balloon of a relatively large size having large buoyancy. SOLUTION: The side opposite to the balloon detaining part 14 of a string winding part 11 of the main body 20 is provided with a finger setting part 13 and the balloon detaining part 14 is provided with a part 21 for detaining the front end of the string S.
