PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mushroom spawn inoculation machine capable of preventing the turn over of a culture bottle and performing the inoculation of spawn in a desirable state. SOLUTION: A container 12 holding culture bottles 10 is intermittently transferred, spawn is scraped down from a spawn bottle 11 held upside down and the culture bottles 10 placed in the container 12 and intermittently transferred row by row are inoculated with the spawn to enable the inoculation of all culture bottles 10 in the container 12. The mushroom spawn inoculation machine having the above mechanism is provided with a transfer mechanism to intermittently transfer the culture bottles 10 in the container 12 row by row to the inoculation position, an uncapping mechanism to remove the cap 10a of the culture bottle 10 transferred to the spawn inoculation position, a spawn inoculation mechanism to inoculate the uncapped culture bottle 10 with necessary amount of spawn scraped out from the spawn bottle 11 and pressing mechanisms 37, 39 to press and erect a row of culture bottles 10 behind the row of culture bottles inoculated with spawn.
