PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noctilucent light for a fishing rod, capable of surely recognizing a movement reaching the tip of the rod on fish-biting without having an entanglement with a fishing line during the fishing at night. SOLUTION: This noctilucent light for the fishing rod is equipped with an electroluminescence cable 11 and a battery box 15 for supplying electricity to the EL cable through a lead wire 12. The connecting part of the EL cable with the lead wire is coated and fixed by a fixing part 13 consisting of a flexible resin as one unit. A clip 21 is attached at the EL cable, and a fixing band 22 is attached to the lead wire. To the battery box, a fixing band 23 is attached. The EL cable, lead wire and the battery box are fixed to the fishing rod by fixing means such as the clip and the fixing bands.
