PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leakage detecting tube of which inside can be cleaned easily and a leakage detecting tube head constituting an upper opening part of the leakage detecting tube. SOLUTION: The leakage detecting tube 11 comprises an outer tube 12, a length adjusting tube 13 and an inner tube 14 disposed on the inside of the outer tube 12, a pair of fixing bands 15 mounted on the upper edge of the outer tube 12, a detecting tube head 16 fixed to the upper end part of the length adjusting tube 13, and an intermediate cover 17 and an upper cover 18 for closing the detecting tube head 16. The inner tube 1 is inserted removably into the outer tube 12. The length adjusting tube 13 is inserted removably into the outer tube 12 and clamped by means of the pair of fixing bands 15. A threaded hole 42 is made in the center of the upper cover 18 and a press screw 44 for moving the upper cover 18 upward by pressing a protrusion 31 of the intermediate cover 17 is screwed into the threaded hole 42.
