JOINING STRUCTURE FOR CIRCULAR STEEL PIPE REINFORCED CONCRETE COLUMN AND RC SLAB

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and reliable joining structure for a circular steel pipe reinforced concrete column and a RC slab, capable of eliminating welding by making the joint between the column and the RC slab a simple composition. SOLUTION: The joining structure is provided with a circular steel pipe fitted with a truncated cone-like connection part having a downward diameter- enlarged portion and a joining member fitted with a truncated cone-like inner periphery part fitted in contact with the connection part. The jointing member is engaged to the connection part, and the RC slab is placed on the slab placing part of the joining member.
