PURPOSE: A monitoring method of a remote controller for a vehicle is provided to display a normal code or an error code by a remote controller after receiving a remote control code and performing an action corresponding to the remote control code. CONSTITUTION: A monitoring method of a remote controller for a vehicle comprises the steps of: transmitting a specific remote control code with response to the action of a user pressing the key of a remote controller(305); receiving the remote control code by a main unit, deciding the possibility of an action corresponding to the received remote control code, and storing the error code if the action is impossible to perform(307); performing the action by controlling an electric device part of a vehicle if the action is possible to perform and storing a normal code or an error code by deciding the performance of the action(309); reporting the result of the performance and transmitting the result data; transmitting the state checking remote control code to the main unit if a state checking key is inputted(313); transmitting the stored error code or the normal code to the remote controller by receiving the state checking remote control code with the main unit(315); and letting a user check the state by receiving the code transmitted from the main unit(317). Therefore, the user removes the cause of an error by accurately checking the state of the vehicle.
