PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system by which a crew member can surely grasp whether or not a traffic lane for an electronic toll collection system (an ETC traffic lane) is installed at the tollgate of a toll road. SOLUTION: The navigation system is equipped with a tollgate-data fetching means, which fetches tollgate data including position data about the tollgate and information regarding the existence of the ETC traffic lane. The navigation system is equipped with a tollgate-data storage means, with which the fetched tollgate data is stored. The navigation system is equipped with a tollgate- information provision means with which the position information on the tollgate and the information about the existence of the ETC traffic lane are provided to a user on the basis of the tollgate data stored in the tollgate data storage means.
