PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner outdoor unit equipped with an electric parts box promoted in miniaturization, improved in cooling efficiency of electric controller parts accommodated therein, prevented from the intrusion of dust, reduced in stress applied to a control substrate and improved in assembling and maintenance workability. SOLUTION: The outdoor unit comprises a unit body 1, which accommodates therein a compressor, a heat exchanger, a blower and the like arranged to face the heat exchanger and an electric parts box 15, which is arranged in the unit body to accommodate therein electric control parts S for driving and controlling the compressor, the blower and the like, wherein the electric parts box comprises a control substrate P, on which all the electric control parts are mounted, and a parts box body 16, which supports the control substrate at the upper portion thereof and accommodates therein all the electric control parts directed downward.
