摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring energized disc freeze proofing valve for preventing the application of unreasonable force on a spring and allowing a disc valve element to fully open an annular valve seat. SOLUTION: An inlet 4, an outlet 5 and an annular valve seat 6 are formed coaxially by a valve casing consisting of an inlet member 1 and an outlet member 2. The disc valve element 7 is arranged at the side of the inlet 4 of the annular valve seat 6. A spring support 9 with a plurality of open communication holes 8 is formed on the outlet member 2. The spring support 9 is inclined gradually more to the annular valve seat 6 as tending to a lower side and it is spaced gradually narrower from the annular valve seat 6 as tending to the lower side. A coil spring 10 which is compressed gradually more as tending to the lower side is arranged between the disc valve element 7 and the spring support 9 for energizing the disc valve element 7 to the opening direction. Four ribs 12, 13 each are provided on the inner periphery wall of the inlet member 1. The inner ends of the ribs 12, 13 are all located on a concentric circle and at an equal distance from the axial center of an access. The diameter of the inner face of the rib 12 is formed smaller than the diameter of the disc valve element 7 and the diameter of the inner face of the rib 13 is formed somewhat larger than the diameter of the disc valve element 7. The inner face of the rib 13 forms a slide contact guide face of the disc valve element 7 and a gap to the rib 13 serves for passing a fluid.
