PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a galvanic cell type oxygen sensor, having no output fluctuation and no output abnormality. SOLUTION: In this galvanic cell type oxygen sensor, equipped with a positive electrode, a negative electrode, an electrolytic solution and a porous film, the positive electrode is equipped with a catalyst electrode and a positive electrode collector comprising metal material; the positive electrode collector is integrated with a positive electrode lead wire; and an electrolytic solution holding material is provided, in contact to the positive electrode collector. The positive electrode lead wire is held in a state where no tension is applied thereon.
