PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic leakage detector which enables a user at a distance to know the occurrence of leakage in every wiring, and also enables monitoring personnel to know it anywhere by a pocket beeper, a portable telephone, or the like, even if he/she is not existent in a monitor room or the like. SOLUTION: This automatic leakage detector detects the wiring causing leakage, by scan system which opens and closes analog switches SW in order, and displays the name of wiring causing the leakage and the leak current value, using the output of a transformer ZCT for detection. In case of nonexistence of monitoring personnel, the data are displayed on a personal computer at a place where the monitoring personnel exists by communication line, and when he/she is not existent at the place of installation of a personal computer, etc., the detector informs him/her of the data by sounding a pocket beeper, a portable telephone, or the like.
