PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder head gasket 1 having excellent sealing performance. SOLUTION: This cylinder head gasket 1 is composed of a first gasket base 2 on the upper face side and a second gasket base 3 on the lower face side. Both gasket bases 2 and 3 are formed with full bead parts 2b and 3a overlapping each other. A folded part 3A is formed at the second gasket base 3, and the outer side tip part (the edge part of a through hole 3b) and the edge part of a through hole 2a of the first gasket base 2 are brought into close contact with each other. This constitution can prevent the intrusion of combustion gas into a clearance between the edge part of the through-hole 3b and the edge part of the through-hole 2a, and the intrusion of combustion gas into a clearance between both gasket bases 2, 3 through the clearance between both edges.
