The revolving door comprises at least two door-panels (12) forming the carousel (11) rotating on a central pivot axle (13) and enclosed by a circular cylindrical wall (16) on the door-side. The side wall has at least two exit or entrance passages (15) allowing access to the carousel doors. An air-curtain (19) near the passage is produced by an elongated, vertical air-curtain-generating appliance (20) which blows air horizontally in the rotational direction (14).
