A module type underwater repair device, comprising an execution part and a base part; the execution part further comprising at least one type of tool module (1), a scanning drive module (2) allowing the tool module to be mounted and dismounted selectively and having a scanning and feeding shaft for scanning the tool module, an underwater fan module (3) allowed to be mounted and dismounted selectively to and from the scanning drive module, and a first buoyancy module (4) for assuring the direction of attitude of the tool module; the base part further comprising a manipulator module (5) having an actuator drive mechanism therein, a sucking module (6) allowed to be mounted and dismounted to and from the manipulator module and allowed to be sucked onto a wall surface, and a second buoyancy module (8) for assuring the direction of attitude of the manipulator module, wherein at least the scanning drive module and manipulator module comprise underwater mounting and dismounting parts (18, 21) allowed to be mounted and dismounted under water.
