The aim of the invention is to improve the application of powdery medicaments. A storage system, especially for the use in or the integration into a powder inhaler, for medicaments in powder form and for receiving a plurality of doses of a least one medically effective matter is provided. The inventive system comprises at least two storage chambers (4) that are separated from each other and are used for a plurality of doses of a medically effective matte respectively. The invention also relates to an inhaler for powdery medicaments. Said inhaler comprises such a cartridge system (1), whereby said cartridge contains the powdery medicament and is an integral component or can be exchanged.
