PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper pivot having excellent durability and reliability capable of preventing a change in a set load for releasing restriction on an axial direction movement in using the wiper device which the restriction on the axial direction movement of a pivot shaft is released when a load is applied from outside of a vehicle under normal conditions. SOLUTION: The wiper pivot 1 includes a toothed washer 5 having a seat part 51 directly or indirectly contacting with a tip side end surface 42 of a tube-shaped bearing part 41, and a tooth part 52 which is formed and stood from the seat part 51 to a tip of the pivot shaft 3, has a plurality of catching pieces 55 formed on an inner peripheral edge of an inserting hole 54 for inserting the pivot shaft 3, and is tightened to an outer peripheral surface 30 of the pivot shaft 3 by predetermined tightening force. The toothed washer 5 is formed in a ring shape without a cut by connecting a part of the seat part 51 or the tooth part 52 with a locally narrowed connecting part 56.
