PURPOSE: A method for displaying tone in Chinese document of Internet study site is provided to enable a Chinese learner to study Chinese easily on the web site by transforming a Chinese document to display a tone in a text format and to manufacture a web document. CONSTITUTION: A first process records Chinese text data at a Chinese character data memory, records a pronunciation and a tone font at a font memory, and matches each text of Chinese character written on a document program to the identical text character recorded in the Chinese character data memory. A second process records the pronunciation and the tone font appointed as a code of the matched text character at a system RAM(Random Access Memory) temporarily. A third process outputs the pronunciation and the tone font recorded in the system RAM to the upper or lower part of the Chinese character text.
