PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the nonuniformity of gap due to difference of the amount of spacers included in a sealing agent and to provide a liquid crystal display device which is excellent in display quality. SOLUTION: This producing method of liquid crystal display device is constituted in such a manner that a printing plate 1 on which an extraction part 3 is formed, is disposed on one substrate 5 between a pair of substrates 5, which are oppositely arranged the sealing agent is placed thereon, a printing squeegee 2 is rubbed in a certain direction, the sealing agent is discharged from the extraction part 3 and thereby a sealing part 6 for enclosing liquid crystal is formed. Further, therein, grooves 4 are disposed at equal intervals from one extraction part 3a on the part of the printing plate 1 between a pair of extraction parts 3a, 3a which are positioned at a distance in the proceeding direction of the printing squeegee and a starting position determining means which determines the squeeze starting position is disposed so as to start the printing squeegee 2 from the position which is apart from the one extraction part 3a by an interval equal to the interval between groves 4. Thereby, the amount of spacers included in the discharged seal agent is made uniform and the nonuniformity of gap in a seal part due to the difference of the amount of spacers is improved.
