摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a pixel electrode and wirings overlap so as to enhance an opening ratio and to reduce influence which is given to display by capacitance among respective wirings and the pixel electrode. SOLUTION: This display device is a liquid crystal display device in which an interlayer insulating film 38 is provided at the upper part of a switching element, a gate wiring and a source wiring and a pixel electrode 21 is provided on the interlayer film 38 and a capacitance ratio expressed in the following equation is equal to or smaller than 10%. A capacitance ratio = Csd/(Csd+ Csl)...(1), provided, Csd indicates a capacitance value between the pixel electrode and a source wiring and Csl indicates a capacitance value at the case the transmissivity of liquid crystal constituting respective pixels is 50%.
