PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gauge for tunnel open sections for controlling the amount of excavation of the tunnel, spraying thickness, and finished work quality as in a timbering section in a tunnel open section. SOLUTION: A gauge simple substance that shows dimensions along an area from the bottom part to the top part of a tunnel excavation schedule wall surface, has bottom and top plates at an end part, and has a sheath pipe in the axial direction of a tunnel is composed of a gauge body that connects its top plates while they confront each other and is arranged over the tunnel excavation scheduled wall surface, and a connection member that is connected to the sheath pipe of each gauge simple substance for composing the gauge body, and the sheath pipes having each gauge simple substance for composing the gauge body are connected by the connection member, thus arranging a plurality of gauge bodies at a specific interval in the axial direction of the tunnel in the gauge for tunnel open section.
