METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING DISC GATE

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for manufacturing a disc gate are provided to integrally perform a trimming process and inject the disc gate as well as removing a gate formed on the disc gate at the same time when the disc gate is injected. CONSTITUTION: An inlet(130) and a passageway(140) are formed on an injection molder to form a disc gate having a predetermined shape. An upper mold(110) is downwardly moved. A cavity part has a disc gate being formed between the upper mold(110) and a lower mold(120) which is coupled with the upper mold(110). A predetermined material is injected inside the cavity part of the disc gate though the passageway(140). The material is hardened for a predetermined period of time. A gate which is formed on a central groove part of the disc gate is removed according to a cutting operation of a cutting punch member(160), which is upwardly moved by a predetermined driving means from a predetermined position of the lower mold(120). The disc gate from which the gate is removed is ejected by an eject member(170) which is provided to the lower mold(120).
