<p>A sanitary ware comprising a pottery base material and a glaze layer formed on a desired portion of the surface thereof, characterized in that the base material has CaO component segregation portions dispersed therein in which portion CaO component is present in a form segregated from the base material. The sanitary ware allows the precise design of the shape and size of a product after burning while maintaining a mechanical strength required for a sanitary ware, is less prone to the decrease in yield due owing to shrinkage or deformation, and achieves more efficient packing into a kiln, which leads to better productivity, as compared to a conventional ware.</p> |
