<p>A high-speed method for determining a shape at low cost with excellent determination accuracy in a compact fashion, wherein the surface of a calibration board to which absolute coordinates are given is imaged by a video camera, an absolute coordinate value is arranged on a virtual plane for each pixel of the video camera, the virtual plane is moved along the X axis toward an object of determination while maintaining the relative positional relation between the virtual plane and the video camera, a bright spot ring formed on the object when the virtual plane passes through the object is imaged by the video camera every frame or every predetermined frames in synchronism with the X axis, and thus the relative point group data on the bright spot ring with respect to the video signal from the video camera is made point group data including absolute coordinate values.</p> |
