PURPOSE: An apparatus for providing information from a network and a method thereof are provided to reduce the time for providing services from a server computer and to use the services conveniently by selecting the desired item of the services. CONSTITUTION: An operator server computer is connected to a plurality of mobile terminals(2) via a base station(4). The operator server computer registers the information of the mobile terminals(2), and transmits various service guide messages to the mobile terminals(2). A plurality of information provider server computers(8) connects to the operator server computer via Internet(7). In response to the transmitted service guide messages, the operator server computer connects selectively the information provider server computers(8) with the mobile terminals(2) according to a service request signal from the mobile terminals(2), and provides the corresponding information.
