The plants are cultivated by placing root containers or pots(2), containing a plant(3), on a conveyor belt(4) of a plant cultivator and allowing the plant to grow in the container or pot while the conveyor is stationary. When the desired growth has been achieved, or the plants are ready for treatment, the conveyor belt is used to transport the containers to a dispensing point. The conveyor belt can be guided through a tray(1) with raised side walls(5), filled with water, to provide water without removal from the conveyor. |
