PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woody tray which is naturally decomposed after use and therefore is free from contamination on environments and a method of manufacturing the woody tray which is simple and highly operative, can be applied to mass production and automation and can be prevented from cracking. SOLUTION: The woody tray 10 comprises a dish-formed core material 13 and sliced veneers 11, 12 which are laminated on a surface and a rear of the material 13 or on either the surface or the rear thereof, wherein the core material 13 is made of a thermoplastic biodegradable resin.
