PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermal recording medium having writing properties generating no printing irregularity and blur at the time of thermal printing/erasure even if a printing surface and the end part of a writable layer are respectively superposed on both surfaces of a base material in the direction almost vertical to the surface direction of a card and constituted so that a region having writability is provided on the outermost layer at any position without restriction, and a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: In the reversible thennal recording medium wherein a reversible thennal recording layer is provided on a base material, the writable layer is provided on at least a part of the outermost layer on the opposite surface of the base material provided with the reversible thermal recording layer and the outermost layer is substantially flush provided. |
