APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TREATING EXHAUST GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To treat harmful substance in exhaust gas at a low cost using an adsorbent generated in an own apparatus without blowing in the adsorbent from outside. SOLUTION: In an exhaust gas treatment apparatus for separating gas and a solid generated when waste refuse and industrial waste are burned and gasified in a gasifying furnace and subjecting the formed gas to predetermined treatment to remove a harmful component in the gas and melting the solid to recover the same as slag, a part of the solid (char) separated in the gasifying furnace 1 is ground and finely divided by a grinder 20 to be charged in the exhaust gas discharged from the gasifying furnace 1 in the proceeding stage of a bag filter 12. Then, the harmful component in the exhaust gas is adsorbed and recovered by the solid charged in the bag filter 12.
