PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surfactant composition containing an alkyl glyceryl ether sulfate and being excellent in low-temperature solubility and low- temperature stability. SOLUTION: Provided is a surfactant composition containing (a) 0.5-50 mass % specified alkyl glyceryl ether sulfate and (b) an inorganic electrolyte that generates at least divalent metal cations in an aqueous solution.
