PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply system for running vehicle, capable of accommodating energy sufficiently at the time of decelerating a running vehicle, such as an automobile, as regenerative energy. SOLUTION: This power supply system for running vehicle, formed by a combination of a nonaqueous secondary cell group and an aqueous secondary cell group, makes the regenerative capability (A/l.kg) of the nonaqueous secondary cell group higher than that (A/l.kg) of the aqueous secondary cell group.
