PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take measures for dust, dirt, etc., by engaging a pair of shutter members with each other by a shutter closing mechanism when the shutter mechanism is closed, by which the surer closing of the shutter mechanism is made possible and the spacings etc., made between the cartridge casing and the shutter members are made as small as possible. SOLUTION: A pair of the shutter members 50 and 51 of the disk cartridge having the cartridge casing 22, an optical disk 21 and the shutter mechanism 28 are provided with the shutter closing mechanism 77 by which the shutter members are coupled to each other in the closing state of the shutter.
