PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the information recording method capable of suppressing the heat generation of a motor for rotationally driving a disk-like recording medium or the increase of power consumption by realizing the simultaneous recording/reproducing operation with respect to the disk-like recording medium by the comparatively smaller buffer capacity and the comparatively lower recording/reproducing data rate. SOLUTION: The recording area of the optical disk 100 is divided to the exclusive area 101 for simultaneous recording/reproducing operation to store up the information for reproducing the information of already recorded area, continuously recorded, simultaneously while the continuous recording operation is performed, and the normal area 102 to store up the information not performing the simultaneous recording/reproducing operation, then the exclusive area 101 for simultaneous recording/reproducing operation is the physically continuous area.
