PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric device, having a piezoelectric vibrator, which secures the adhesive strength between the piezoelectric vibrator and a conductive adhesion member, will not spoil shock resistance, prevents a fundamental wave from being damped, has superior electrical characteristics, and enables cantilever fixation. SOLUTION: This piezoelectric device 1 is constituted by jointing a piezoelectric vibrator 3, which has excitation electrodes 31 and 33 formed on both main surfaces of a rectangular piezoelectric substrate 30 and lead-out electrodes 32 and 34 formed on the reverse surface of the piezoelectric substrate 30 on one short-side side and an insulating substrate 21, which has electrode pads 22 and 23 with bumps 5 formed on the above surface together by a conductive adhesion member 4 arranged on the reverse surface and short-side end surface of the piezoelectric vibrator 3. Then the device is represented by 0.21W<=W1<0.33W and L<=2.3W, where W1 is the width of the conductive adhesion member 4, W is the short-side directional width of the piezoelectric vibrating element, and L is the length in the long-edge direction.
