A transparent, electrically conductive and heat-sealable material, characterized in that it comprises a heat-sealable synthetic resin and electrically conductive particles having a 50 % particle diameter of 1.0 mu m or less; and a lidded container using the material for a carrier tape. The transparent, electrically conductive and heat-sealable material has performance capabilities of static protection not to lower even in a low humidity atmosphere and also a transparency such that an article placed in the lidded container is visible from the outside.
