The invention relates to a sealing profile which is made of an elastomeric material and which is especially used for sealing window channels for side windows in motor vehicle doors. The sealing profile comprises a sealing area (20) and a fastening area (30) which is connected to said sealing area. The fastening area (30) comprises a base body (31) having a u-shaped cross-section, an outer limb (33), an inner limb (34), a web element (35), and a reinforcing element (32). According to the invention, the reinforcing element (32) is configured in the outer limb (33) and in at least one partial area of the web element (35). The reinforcing element (32) is advantageously designed with an l-shape or s-shape. The elastomeric material in the base body (31) is preferably harder than the elastic material in the remainder of the sealing profile (10). |
