PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-luminescent rope having both of high luminescent strength and mechanical strength regardless of simple structure and provide a leading rope for pets capable of ensuring safety of pets because of having sufficient visibility from the third party when a person takes a pet including a dog on a walk at night, etc. SOLUTION: This self-luminescent rope comprises a cord-like body 12 composed of a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer containing a fluorescent agent and an illuminant 14 capable of making light 16 incident on the cord-like body 12 from at least one end of the cord-like body 12. Another objective leading rope is obtained by utilizing the above self-luminescent rope. |
