PROCESSING AGENT COMPOSITION FOR SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHY, AND PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing agent composition for a silver halide photographic sensitive material containing a new chelating agent and a processing method. SOLUTION: The processing agent composition for silver halide photography contains at least one of compounds of the formulae (R1)(R2)N-(C=X1)-W-(C=X2)- N(R3)(R4) [V], (R1)(R2)N-(C=X1)-(R3) [VI] and (R1)N-[(C=X1)-R2]-[(C=X2)-R3] [VII]. The composition may be a bleaching solution or a bleach-fixing solution containing a ferric complex salt of at least one of compounds of the formulae [V]-[VII].
