PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for a foundation capable of effectively utilizing surplus soil generated by boring an excavation groove. SOLUTION: In a slab-shaped foundation 1 provided with a concrete riser part 4 rising from an inner part of the excavation groove 2 formed in the ground 6, and a concrete foundation slab 5 formed on banking 3 provided on the ground outside the excavation groove 2, the riser part 4 and the foundation slab part 5 being integrally formed of concrete 8 to have a level top surface, the banking 3 contains the surplus soil generated by boring the excavation groove 2.
