摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste processing apparatus in which all ash fractions can be melted without discharging flying ashes to the outside of a system, and combustion in a combustion/melting furnace can be combusted and stabilized, and hence the amount of production of slag and the composition of the slag can be uniformized. SOLUTION: A waste processing apparatus 1A is provided wherein a waste (a) is thermally decomposed in a thermal decomposition reactor 5, and thermally decomposed residues (c) discharged is cooled with a cooling apparatus 10, and then it is separated to a first separation component (e) of fine particles involving mainly combustible components and a second separation component (d) comprising mainly non-combustible components in a separation apparatus 11. Further, the first separation component (e) is ground in a grinding apparatus 13, which is combusted in a combustion melting furnace 6 together with carbonized gas Gd produced by thermal decomposition, and further flying ash (f) in the exhausted waste gas Gc is collected with a dust collection apparatus 16. In the waste processing apparatus, the foregoing flying ash (f) is mixed with the ground first separation components e1 in a mixing apparatus 30 and thereafter supplied to the combustion melting furnace 6.
