PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a novel condensation removing/preventing system and method for a municipal waste drying facility capable of eliminating detrimental effects caused by condensation occurring in an exhaust gas passage without requiring an extensive change on an existing facility. SOLUTION: A gas supply passage R1 for supplying part of exhaust gas heated in a heat exchanger 8 to an exhaust duct 10 connecting an exhausting outlet 24 in a drier 2 and the heat exchanger 8 with each other is formed. The exhaust gas heated in the heat exchanger 8 is supplied to the exhaust duct 10 so as to heat the exhaust duct 10, and condensation in the duct is prevented or condensate in the duct is removed.
