PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a work amount to a suitable value in each process while doing actual work. SOLUTION: This device has a workpiece rotational mechanism 25 rotating a workpiece W, a grinding wheel rotational mechanism 19 rotating a grinding wheel T around a rotary shaft in parallel to a rotary shaft X of the workpiece rotational mechanism, an axial feed mechanism 27 relatively moving the workpiece W and the grinding wheel T along the above rotary shaft X, an orthogonal feed mechanism 18 relatively moving the workpiece W and the grinding wheel T in a direction Z orthogonal to the above rotary shaft X, a control device 12 operating these axial feed mechanism 27 and orthogonal feed mechanism 18 alternately repeated by a plurality of times, and a plurality of orthogonal feed amount setters from 102 to 106 connected to this control device 12 to set an orthogonal feed amount of the next work. A grinding amount can be easily set during grinding work by the setter from 102 to 106.
