PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method in which waste containing a great amount of metallic aluminum can be incinerated without producing clinker and the like. SOLUTION: Oxidation of metallic aluminum contained in the waste is accelerated by putting iron oxide 3 in an incinerator 1 for incinerating waste containing metallic aluminum, and the metallic aluminum is discharged as alumina to the outside of the furnace 1. Waste containing iron may be mixed and fired instead of the iron oxide 3.
