PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile object management device where a personal computer is caused to efficiently perform a processing. SOLUTION: In the mobile object management device, a line controller 5 having a plurality of data adapters 7 and a CPU 8 connected to the data adapters 7 is installed between a plurality of portable telephone sets 4 and the personal computer 6, and the ID number of a mobile object 10 and a call command are transmitted to the line controller 5 from the personal computer 6. Thus, the mobile object 10 is called by using one of the data adapters 7 and one of the portable telephone sets 4 in response to the ID number of the mobile object 10 and the call command. GPS data obtained from the mobile object 10 is temporarily preserved in the memory 8' of the CPU 8. The CPU 8 transmits preserved data to the personal computer 6 when the interface with the personal computer 6 becomes idle.
