PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointer type clock wherein a number plate is illuminated uniformly with simple structure and a time can be easily confirmed. SOLUTION: A planar second disk 7 which has an indication part 7a for indicating indexes 4a, 4b on the surface is fixed to a second pointer shaft 2c. Light emitting diodes 11, 12, 13, 14 for casting lights on the rear of the second disk 7 are fixed on a front plate 1a. As a result, the lights outputted from the light emitting diodes 11, 12, 13, 14 are reflected by the rear of the second disk 7, and illuminate the number plate 4.
