PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is impossible to realize the specification of objects or the display of candidates when a character string indicating the classification or business category of a corporation is not precisely matched with a retrieval condition at the time of retrieving an alphabetically written corporation name. SOLUTION: A previously inputted English corporation name (101) is divided into the corporation classification, business category name, and corporation own name by an English corporation name analyzing part 102 and a data registering part 111 by using a corporation classification dictionary 105 in which a corporation classification code 105a indicating the classification of each corporation classification is applied to each corporation classification name and a business category name dictionary 106 in which a business category code 106a indicating the classification of the business category is applied to the business category name, and stored as data 103 to be retrieved by applying the corporation classification code 105a and the business category name code 106a. Then, the same separation processing is operated on an inputted retrieval condition (English corporation name) 104 as well by an English corporation name analyzing part 102, and each separated part is compared with the data 103 to be retrieved. Then, the result is evaluated based on a previously defined collation rule 108, and the data beyond a fixed reference are extracted as an object.
