PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment with a small scale at a low cost, capable of providing a broadcast function in addition to a telephone function while efficiently utilizing the frequency. SOLUTION: A telephone managing part 20 controls speech communication by IP telephone between telephone sets 7 with each other. A broadcast managing part 21 transmits broadcast notification showing that broadcasting is performed to a terminal device 8 for broadcasting and subsequently transmits an IP packet for broadcasting to the whole subscribers or the terminal device 8 for broadcasting belonging to a prescribed group. When the device 8 for broadcasting receives the broadcast notification, the device 8 interrupts speech communication by the IP telephone and outputs a voice for broadcasting corresponding to an IP packet for broadcasting.
