PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in the conventional mounting structure of a LCD, sunlight and the like is made incident through a gap between a panel 1 and a LCD 3 on a LCD driver 4 and a circuit in the LCD driver 4 malfunctions to bring wrong display of the LCD 3 and if a rib 20a is provided on a panel 20 so as to cover the entire side surface of a LCD holder 6 in order to prevent intrusion of dust, the panel 20 needs to be large and an electronic instrument can not be miniaturized. SOLUTION: In the mounting structure of the LCD for solving the problem, the LCD 3 is disposed inside the panel so that it can be seen through a window of the panel and a cushion formed by laminating resin plates is stuck and adhered to the inside of an edge of the window of the panel and the resin plates are in press-contact with the LCD driver.
