PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a chafer fabric for tires comprising flexible yarns and capable of providing a prescribed woven fabric strength and preventing air leakage without applying a large amount of a resorcinol-formaldehyde latex(RFL). SOLUTION: This chafer fabric for the tires uses the yarns composed of fibers comprising nylon 6 or nylon 66 and having 2-10 number of single filaments as warp yarns and/or weft yarns.
