<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desirable charging method of an iron and steel raw material into a blast furnace for using a raw material such as reduced iron or scrap. SOLUTION: In the charging method of the iron and steel raw material such as reduced iron or scrap together with iron ore and coke into the blast furnace, the grain diameter of the iron and steel raw material is adjusted to be larger than that of the charged iron ore and further to be smaller than the rough diameter of the charged coke. Timing of the change of the raw material should be after charging the coke and before charging the iron ore.</p> |
