PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording head, widely a liquid jet head which is advantageous in being made highly accurate, large in size and being highly densely arranged by suppressing 'warp' of a channel forming plate and a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: This liquid jet head has the channel forming plate 4 where channel spaces as channels for a liquid are formed penetrating, a nozzle plate 3 with nozzle openings 8 set to one side face of the channel forming plate 4 and communicating with the channel spaces, and a diaphragm 5 set to the other side face of the channel forming plate 4 to shut the channel spaces. The other side part of the channel spaces are formed as pressure chamber spaces 7. The other side of the channel forming plate 4 including at least part of the pressure chamber spaces 7 is formed by electroforming. Pressure generation means 6 for generating a pressure change to the liquid in the pressure chamber spaces 7 are set to the other side part of the diaphragm 5 corresponding to the pressure chamber spaces 7.
